A core aim for the Friends of The Byes is to help to promote the range of wildlife and wild flowers in The Byes. The group works alongside our partners to develop the Wild Flower Meadows and manage other areas to provide a range of different habitats.
The Byes riverside park is home to a rich variety of plant life and creatures including birds, butterflies, bats and fish. Some of the species you can expect to see are illustrated on our PLANTS and ANIMALS pages.
